Fire in Erdington fish and chip shop

A BIRMINGHAM fish and chip shop has been forced to close temporarily after a fire.

Oil overheated in the frying range of the Classic Fish Bar, in Erdington High Street, on Sunday night.

Staff and customers who were in the shop at the time managed to get out, and fire crews put out the blaze.
