WEST Midlands Police have been named as one of the country’s top employers for gay, lesbian and bisexual staff.
The force leapt nine places to be ranked 19th out of 100 employers in the study by gay rights group Stonewall, and was one of five police forces to feature in the top 20.
PC Jim Field-Evans said: “We’ve continued to improve the service we provide to our workforce.”
