Driver attacked by youths who pelted his car with snowballs in Wolverhampton

A DRIVER was punched in the face and racially abused by youths after they snowballed his car in Wolverhampton.

The 23-year-old suffered a facial injury when he challenged the gang of teenagers for pelting his car at the junction of Thorneycroft Lane and Bushbery Road on January 11 at 3.00pm. PC Tim Rhodes from Wednesfield police said: “This was a violent assault on an innocent man by a group of youngsters intent on causing trouble.

“We know there would have been people passing.”
