City pub gets crafty to save cash

CRAFTY Brummies will be trading tips on beating the credit crunch at a city pub.

The ‘Crafty Beer’ return to the Victoria Pub, on John Bright Street, from 7pm on Wednesday and will be trading skills and ideas to help replenish a wallet emptied by Christmas.

Katie Moran, group founder, said: “The ‘Crafty Beer’ is helping Birmingham locals discover the joy of all things crafty, be this oil painting, drawing, sewing, knitting, cross-stitching, or jewellery making.”
