MP Andrew Mitchell backs NSPCC plea for volunteers in Hagley Road Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM MP Andrew Mitchell has praised the work of NSPCC volunteers and backed the charity’s drive for more support.

Mr Mitchell visited the group’s ChildLine base in Hagley Road, which offers counselling to hundreds of desperate youngsters.

The centre is in need of of more volunteers, especially for the late shift from midnight to 6am.
