West Midlands Polcie recover drugs in swoops on pubs in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Kingstanding

THREE men were arrested for drugs offences in a blitz on pubs.
Working with the Joint Licensing Task Force, police officers swooped on a number of pubs in north Birmingham following complaints about noise and anti-social behaviour. West Midlands Police said drugs were recovered from drinkers in pubs in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Kingstanding. Officers arrested three men on suspicion of possessing both Class A and Class B drugs. A number of counterfeit DVDs were also seized. Insp Steve Rees, from Sutton Coldfield, said: “Any activity that is disruptive to the community in general will not be tolerated.”
