Moseley Round Table offering £10,000 to community groups

A MOSELEY charity is offering community groups across the city the chance to share £10,000.
The Moseley Round Table is asking charities, clubs and groups, who may be feeling the pinch in the economic downturn, to apply for the fund.
The fundraisers said the Ten for 2010 initiative was made possible after their successful fireworks event.
Mark Wilkinson said: “We are aware that there are a lot of groups that have special projects or those that struggle for support but give so much back.
“I’m not sure how many organisations – be that charities, sports clubs or community groups – are actually aware that we can help them.”
The Ten for 2010 panel will assess all the applications and then will invite a number to the finale.
For an application form email moseleyroundtable@hotmail.co.uk or write to Ten for 2010, 45 Avenue Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 7TJ. The deadline is April 2.
