RSPB raise £400 dressed as birds at West Bromwich Albion clash

THERE were extra wingers on hand for West Brom’s match against Sheffield United on Saturday Thanks to the RSPB.

Staff from the charity in full bird costume collected around £400 From around the ground during the Baggies 3-1 victory.

Louise Pedersen from the RSPB in Birmingham said: “I don’t know if it was because of the colourful bird costumes we were wearing, but people were very generous and we managed to collect around £400 which will go towards the RSPB’s vital conservation work in the region. We would like to thank the West Bromwich Albion Football Club for letting us do a collection before the game.”
