Hall Green MP backs new plans to tackle rogue car clampers

A BIRMINGHAM MP has welcomed the introduction of tribunals for drivers to challenge the fines issued by car clamping firms.

Ministers have announced the plans will come into operation in 2011. Steve McCabe (Lab, Hall Green) said: “This sends a clear message to the car clampers who are unfairly charging innocent motorists that enough is enough.”
