Eyesore block of garages in Merridale, Wolverhampton, to be knocked down for community green

AN eyesore block of privately-owned garages in Wolverhampton that have been plagued by crime and anti-social behaviour are to be demolished.

Nineteen garages off Aspen Way, Merridale, are due to be knocked down in the next few weeks.

Once the demolition is complete the land will be grassed over for community use.
