New boss hired to head Heart of Birmingham Primary Care Trust

A TEMPORARY new boss has been hired for Heart of Birmingham Primary Care Trust(PCT) despite plans for a merger of all city PCTs.

Kevin McGee, a health executive from North Lancashire, has signed a year’s contract.

Current chief executive Dr Sandy Bradbrook is retiring at the end of March after 25 years in the NHS.
