New debating society to be launched in Birmingham

A NEW debating and learning society is being launched in the city.

The Birmingham Salon, sponsored by University of Birmingham, offers an opportunity to exchange ideas, opinions. People can propose subjects and lead debates if they choose.The first meeting will be held tomorrow from 6.45pm until 9pm at the Atrium bar, The Studio, Cannon St, where the topic up for discussion will be ‘Is Childhood in Crisis’.
