Pop Idol finalists Sam and Mark sign to BRMB

POP Idol finalists and children’s TV presenters Sam and Mark will soon be taking to the Midlands’ airwaves with their own weekly radio show.

BAFTA-nominated Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes have been signed up by city station BRMB to present the show every Sunday.

Mark, who comes from Walsall, said: “For me, it’s great, as I’ll be broadcasting regularly to all my old mates in my home town.”

Sam added: “This is going to be great fun, we’re really looking forward to having a laugh with the listeners on Sunday mornings and playing some cool songs.”

The duo recently presented children’s reality series Who Wants To Be A Superhero?, as well as a fourth season of their live Saturday morning show TMi.

They are currently hosting Jump Nation on BBC2 every Saturday morning at 8.30am.
