Motorists traveling along the Black Country Route get treated to a Valentine message of a different kind

THEY say the course of true love never did run smooth, and for one couple it certainly didn’t along the Black Country Route.

Following treats of Valentine’s Day cards that told of undying love and commitment, motorists travelling between Bilston and Walsall were treated to a personal message of a rather different nature.

A local seems to have rejected “Steve’s” proposal, with a banner that suggests a troubled relationship and the ‘interference’ of a sibling.

“Steve, answer’s no! I know about you and my sister!” it says. Could it be that Steve’s was a failed marriage proposal?

Whatever it was, the sister’s involvement with Steve was a problem, and now everybody who was heading towards Junction 10 of the M6 knows about it.
