Van ploughs into four Wolverhampton pedestrians today

FOUR people were hurt when a delivery van lost control and went into them in Wolverhampton city centre. Two men and two women were walking along Pipers Row, near the Crown Court, when the van collided with them at around 11.15am. The two women, in their 40s, suffered serious back, pelvis and chest injuries and were taken to New Cross Hospital.
A man, said to be in his 50s, sustained minor injuries while a fourth pedestrian, aged around 20, was treated for minor injuries.
