A PERVERTED Midland postman who carried out a string of sex attacks on schoolgirls has been put behind bars for five-and-a-half years.
Kevin Owen was arrested after one of his victims told her mother what had happened, prosecutor Richard Atkins told Wolverhampton Crown Court. The 48-year-old, of Thames Road, Blakenall, Walsall, admitted a total of 20 charges involving sexual assault, incitement to commit sexual activity with a child, and making and possessing indecent photographs of a child.
He was further told by Judge Martin Walsh he must register as a sex offender for life and he disqualified him from ever working with children.
Tariq Mohammed, for Owen, told the court Owen was full of remorse. He said he was a man of previous good character who knew what he had done was wrong. Owen recognised the consequences of his actions, Mr Mohammed said.
