Wolves turnstile for sale on Ebay

THE ultimate Wolves collectable is been sold on Ebay for £3,000.

A complete original turnstile from Molineux is expected to fetch the cool sum when bidding on the auction website was set to end today.

Millions of people entered through the old turnstile during gloom and glory before it was removed as the ground was modernised in the early nineties. But for one supporter, the piece of Wolves memorabilia could become a permanent fixture in their home if they are the lucky bidder.

The item, which is currently based in Willenhall, is in used condition and has been painted in the famous gold and black Wolves colours.

It is one of only two turnstiles for sale on Ebay despite there been thousands of football grounds in the UK.

The late 19th Century turnstile from Manchester was manufactured by W.T.Ellison & Co – the sole makers of this particular design of Rush Preventative Turnstile.
