Doorstep trickster who targeted Redditch pensioner is hunted by police

A DEVIOUS female burglar pretended to be injured in order to trick her way in to the home of a Midland pensioner.

The woman and her male cohort called at the home of the elderly victim in Tillington Close, Redditch, at about 7.30pm on Monday asking for help.

The woman, in her 80s, invited them in. After the pair left, the victim found £140 missing from her bag. The woman was white, in her 20s or 30s, large build with brown hair and wearing a checked shirt.
