West Heath chemist lodges appeal on all night opening

THE pharmacist behind controversial plans for an all night chemist has lodged an appeal after permission was turned down.
A government planning inspector will now decide if the city council was right to refuse 24-hour pharmacy at Cofton Medical Centre in Robinsfield Drive, West Heath.
Residents campaigned to block the scheme late last year claiming the service was not needed and would attract drug users and anti-social behaviour.
