Your Charities: Chocs away for Cadbury team

Cadbury

TEAM Cadbury set off from Bournville last week to take part in the Ride Across Britain – a gruelling nine-day cycle ride from John O’Groats to Lands End.

The 16-strong team are riding the length of the country to raise money for Paralympics GB, the charity responsible for Britain’s paralympics teams, as part of Cadbury’s sponsorship of the 2012 Olympic Games.

The team has already raised £15,000 for Paralympics GB and hopes to raise more as the ride progresses.

Local riders from Bournville taking part include chocolate manufacturing operator Michael Huggins, chocolate development manager Justin Carline, Flake brand manager Cat Norman and the manager of Cadbury’s distribution centre in Minworth, Duncan Elliot.
