A BIRMINGHAM-based charity has raised more than £350,000 to help flood victims in Pakistan.
Through donations from the public, Islamic Relief Worldwide, in Rea Street South, Birmingham, has raised £355,000 to provide survivors in Nowshera, Sibbi and South Punjab with tents, food and medical supplies.
But millions more are needed to save lives and prevent the spread of cholera.
More than 1,400 people have been killed and three million cut off by Pakistan’s worst flooding in 80 years.
Entire villages have been washed away and the United Nations estimates nearly a million people have lost their homes.
