Supermarket offers £10k reward to catch armed raiders behind Harborne Co-op robbery

SUPERMARKET bosses have placed a £10,000 bounty on the heads of these gun-toting thugs who stabbed two workers during a terrifying armed raid in Birmingham.
The four masked men – two brandishing guns and two armed with knives – burst into the Harborne branch of the Co-op as staff prepared to open for the day.
And in a sickening attempt to get their hands on a substantial haul of cash, the gang stabbed a male worker and knifed a female colleague as three fellow workers watched on in horror.
As police released CCTV footage of the raid and called on Birmingham Mail readers to help catch the gang, the Midlands Co-operative has pledged the £10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gang responsible.
A spokesman said: “This was a serious and vicious attack resulting in two of our colleagues sustaining knife wounds and three being seriously shaken.
“Thankfully, the wounds were not life-threatening and both members of staff were discharged from hospital on the same day.
“We hope the offer of this reward will help the police apprehend the people responsible as soon as possible.”
