Wolves legend Steve Bull launches foundation

FOR a striker whose record-breaking 306 goals made him a Wolves legend, Steve Bull has surprising confession.
“Seeing the ball hit the back of net is a superb feeling every time – brilliant.
“But nothing compares to the feeling you get when you bring a smile to the face of a seriously ill or disabled child because you’ve done something to help them and bring them a bit of happiness.”
They are not hollow words either. For Bully now raises money for charity with the same conviction that he bagged all those goals.
For the past five years he has been patron of the Wolverhampton-based national charity Promise Dreams, helping to raise nearly £2 million for sick and terminally ill children.
Now he has launched the Steve Bull Foundation to act as an umbrella for all his charitable activities.
Bully was joined by his rock star pal and fellow Wolves vice-president Robert Plant and nearly 300 guests at Molineux for the launch, which raised around £35,000.
