Your Memories: Old baths celebrating a century

Nechells Baths

FORMER visitors to Nechells Baths are encouraged to share their memories of the popular facility as part of a fun day at the revamped site.

A £4 million refurbishment of the former swimming baths turned the building, which was built in 1910, into a high-tech community facility.

On September 4, a celebration day will be held at the Grade II listed building to recognise its 100th birthday.

The Birmingham Foundation is hoping for input from Birmingham Mail readers to help create a history exhibition of old pictures on the day.

Other activities will include donkey rides, face painting and a fancy dress competitions.
