Police release CCTV in hunt for thugs who battered football fan unconscious in Wylde Green

POLICE hunting a brutal gang who left a man with a fractured eye socket and a broken jaw have issued these pictures of men they want to trace in connection with the attack.
The 35-year-old victim was ‘viciously’ assaulted in as he stood outside the Yenton pub, in Wylde Green.
The thugs behind the attack battered him so hard, he was left with severe facial injuries, and has had to undergo lengthy hospital treatment.
As he slumped unconscious to the ground they ran off.
Today detectives released CCTV footage to the Birmingham Mail of a group of men they wanted to trace in connection with the incident and called on readers to name them.
