Birmingham is finally revealed on screen in BBC1 drama Hustle

BIRMINGHAM will have the last laugh when it is revealed as a glamorous city in the TV drama Hustle.

The BBC is filming in the city for the second year running, but last summer they disguised Birmingham locations to make them look like London.

When the seventh series starts in January, however, there will be one episode actually set in Birmingham – so iconic landmarks like the Bullring, Rotunda, New Street Station and canals will be shown on screen.

Birmingham-born Adrian Lester, who plays Mickey Stone, the leader of the gang of con artists, is delighted that viewers will get to see his native city in all its glory.
