A TEENAGER who was left in agony at the disastrous JLS Christmas Lights switch on finally got to see her heroes.
Maryelen Loughran, aged 17, from Sheldon, has multiple disabilities and was recovering from a stomach by-pass operation when nurses pushed her in a wheelchair to see the boy band at Millennium Point last November.
The massive crowd led to a dangerous surge, crushing Maryelen, ripping the stitches from her operation open.
Yesterday the brave teen from Sheldon joined hundreds of screaming fans queued outside a WH Smith for a chance to meet the pop heart throbs.
The boys were back in town to sign copies of their latest book and were met by more than 400 adoring supporters.
