A CHARITY event in Birmingham hopes to raise £500 for armed forces heroes tomorrow night.
A disco, raffle and auction will sell off lots including a weekend’s ownership of a Mercedes coupe, a signed bat from Worcestershire Cricket Club and tickets to see Roxy Music at the LG Arena, for Help for Heroes.
Organiser 36-year-old Sarah Lunnon, of Acocks Green, whose 50-year-old husband Martin served in the army, said it was an important cause.
She added: “It’s good for the morale of the lads and lasses to know people are thinking of them.”
