Floozie in the Jacuzzi is back in action
BIRMINGHAM’S popular Floozie in the Jacuzzi fountain was returned to full working order today following £300,000 repair work to her leaky pipes.
One of the city’s best loved attractions, officially called the The River Goddess Fountain, will also be in the pink, blue and green following the installation of multi-coloured spotlights.
The 17-year-old statue has been drained and under wraps since August when restoration work to block the leaks and replace faulty mechanics began.
It means that Victoria Square will be returned to its full glory in time for next week’s Remembrance Day Service.
