A FORMER Solihull cinema usherette is set to make a splash on one of ITV’s biggest series.

Alison Hammond is in Australia where she is expected to take part in the new series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, which starts tomorrow.
The bubbly This Morning presenter was not among the initial ten contestants revealed by ITV.
But she is set to be a late arrival to the celebrity camp along with comedian Dom Joly, who is also Down Under.
Alison will join a diverse range of hopefuls on the latest series, including singer Stacey Solomon, who found fame after appearing on The X Factor.
Other contenders will include ex-James Bond girl and Rod Stewart’s former squeeze, Britt Ekland, as well as Birmingham Hippodrome-bound panto star Nigel Havers.
Alison’s Twitter account provided no clues as to whether she would make it into the Aussie jungle.
Her last message, posted on Tuesday, simply said: “I’d better get my groove on.”
On November 1, she posted: “Merrikesh (sic) here we come whoo hoo xxx.”
The following day, she wrote: “Sorry folks healthy eating has gone out the window. Just eaten cous cous, lamb and loads of morroccan (sic) bread. I have ruined everything xx.”
She has recently been attempting to drop three dress sizes in time for Christmas thanks to a Black Dress Bootcamp.
