A SECOND man has been arrested by police investigating a terrifying armed raid on a Midlands millionaire’s mansion
The news came as business tycoon John Caudwell said he feels lucky to be alive after the violent raid.
Billionaire John Caudwell, aged 41, the former owner of Phones 4U, was beaten around the head with a crowbar and tied up at his Staffordshire home on November 1.
His fianceé Claire Johnson, aged 41, and another female staff member were also attacked by the masked men but were unhurt.
Speaking for the first time since the raid, in which the burglars stole all of the couple’s jewellery, Mr Caudwell said he could have been killed.
