40,000 enjoy Clothes Show Live

MORE than 40,000 fashion fans braved freezing weather this weekend to shop ‘til they dropped at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham.

An estimated 108,000 people are expected to head to the NEC between now and Wednesday for the event, which is now in its 22nd year.

The cold weather did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of fashionistas who stocked up on the latest fashion and beauty must-haves at the show, which was hosted by TV fashion guru Gok.

And while it may have been chilly outside, the temperature rose at the show when models posed in skimpy bikinis and sexy outfits during a sizzling catwalk event.

Among the throng of visitors at the show was reigning Miss Birmingham and Birmingham Mail columnist Kerry Price, from Kings Norton, who took to the stage to share her top fashion tips after undergoing have a mini-makeover on the Amazing Lashes stand.

The 24-year-old beauty, who was also on the look-out for entrants for next year’s Miss England competition, said: “I am so excited to be at the Clothes Show to talk about what Miss England is all about and all the charity work we do.

“I have been talking about my year so far as Miss Birmingham which has been amazing.
