PREPARATIONS are under way for the Chinese new year celebrations in Birmingham city centre.
The event will take place on Sunday, February 6, with a free festival in the Arcadian Centre.
The Chinese new year will herald the year of the rabbit, which according to tradition will be a year of sophistication, gracious manners and sensitivity.
