POLICE arrested seven people after reports of shots being fired in a Birmingham street – the third firearms incident in just three days.

No one was believed to have been hurt after a round of bullets was said to have been fired in Rough Road, Kingstanding, at 4.30pm on Friday.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said she did not know what age or sex those arrested were.

Rumours also suggested that two cars had earlier sped past the scene.

“It’s happening all over again now because there’s no deterrent.”
