THIS is the man police want to trace after a streaker dressed in only a silver thong braved the cold January air to run onto the pitch during the last Birmingham football derby.

With only the thong to spare his blushes, the pitch invader temporarily stopped the game between Blues and Villa at St Andrew’s on January 16.

The man, who had the letters ‘BCFC’, ‘KRO’, and ‘SOTV’ scrawled on his back, ran among the players as stewards tried to apprehend him and Blues defender David Murphy attempted to trip him up.

But, despite his eye-catching outfit, which also included trainers and black socks, the interloper somehow managed to escape arrest by diving back into the crowd.

The image released by police was taken from mobile phone footage of the incident posted on YouTube by a fan after the game.
