Moseley's Bull's Head pub granted licence extension

A PUB was granted extended opening hours despite a raft of objections from residents.

Managers at the Bull’s Head at St Mary’s Row, Moseley, pictured, applied to stay open until midnight from Mondays to Thursdays to stop punters going to other venues.

They also asked Birmingham Council’s sub-licensing committee for permission to stay open until 2am on Bank Holidays.

But residents sent a raft of objection letters saying other pubs would now apply to stay open longer.

Granting the application, licensing bosses said the Bull’s Head would have to install CCTV, close an outside smoking area at 11.30pm and keep a complaints book for residents.
