Stourbridge stab victim Chloe thanks well-wishers as she leaves hospital

Messages of support flooded in for Stourbridge stabbing victim Chloe West, as she revealed how she was feeling after leaving hospital.

Schoolgirl Chloe, aged 14, was treated for wounds to her upper body and face after an attack outside Ridgewood High School in Stourbridge on Friday.

She was discharged from Birmingham Children's Hospital on Saturday after undergoing surgery.

In a post left on social networking website Facebook, Chloe said: "I'm out now. Feel like I've been head-banging for ages but I'm good. Thanks for everyone who has been by me. I love you all. xxx."

In a separate Facebook page called Chloe West - Get Well Soon, which has nearly 4,000 followers, hundreds of well-wishers left messages for the schoolgirl.

Kelly Homer said in a post: "Get well soon Chloe, glad to hear your back home with your family, stay strong."

Another, from Tim Tremonti, said: "Hey Chloe, I'm so glad to hear you're okay!

"Was pretty worried and upset yesterday when I read about what happened, so I was really happy to find out you've been discharged.

"Hope you recover completely, and quickly."

Rachel Finlayson said in a message: "Great news to hear you are home. Your a little fighter aren't you! Stay strong babe and put that smile back on your face. Thoughts are with you and your family!"

Samuel Tomlinson, aged 18, of Sedgley, has been charged with the attempted murder of Chloe and is due to appear before Dudley magistrated today (Monday)
