A TEAM of Birmingham firefighters have completed a charity crusade to take a fire engine to all 20 Premier League football grounds in just 48 hours.
Matt Geoghegan, Richard Pringle, Zach Villers, Tim Westwood and Ian Sturmey, from Red Watch at Sheldon Fire Station, left their base bound for St Andrew’s and Villa Park.
They then called in at the Hawthorns and Molineux before venturing to venues in the north.
During the epic tour, which ended at Wembley Stadium, they collected a piece of memorabilia from each club to auction later this year. All proceeds will go to Acorns Children’s Hospice and the Fire Fighter’s Charity.
Information is available on the Facebook Premiership Charity Challenge page.
