A WOMAN was cut free after the car she was driving was involved in a collision.

The woman was travelling along Rotton Park Road, Edgbaston, when she crashed into another car just after 8.10am yesterday.

Fire crews used cutting equipment to free the trapped woman and she was taken to hospital.
