POLICE are investigating after a car fire spread to neighbouring properties.

The car was found on fire in an alleyway behind houses on Jerome Road, Pleck, Walsall, just before 12.10pm yesterday.

The fire spread to a detached garage and garden fences before it was brought under control.

Police are investigating.
