A DRIVER was taken to hospital following a car collision in Birmingham.

The man was travelling along Icknield Street, Hockley, when his car was in collision with another vehicle just after 9.05pm on Thursday.

Fire crews used cutting equipment to release the man and he was taken to hospital.
