SIX people have been arrested after two men were stabbed in the Black Country.

Police were called to Mount Street, Bilston, at 2am yesterday after reports of a violent confrontation involving up to six people.

When police arrived they discovered two men with serious stab wounds, who were immediately transferred to hospital.

One has since been discharged, the other remains in a stable condition, police said.

Three men, aged 27, 29 and 32, and three women, aged 21, 35 and 53, were being questioned last night.

Mount Road was sealed off yesterday.
