Video: Former X-Factor contest Cher Lloyd tops charts with Swagger Jagger

CHER Lloyd stormed to the top of the singles chart yesterday with her debut release Swagger Jagger.

The 18-year-old from Malvern, Worcestershire, a finalist in last year’s X Factor, deposed She Makes Me Wanna, by previous X Factor finalists JLS, featuring Dev.

“Having a number one was the best thing I could have asked for”, said Cher, who spent her childhood honing her musical talent and dreaming of being in the charts.

In the album chart, Amy Winehouse ‘s Back To Black stayed at number one for a second week after recording its strongest weekly sales since the singer’s untimely death last month.
