CHURCH leaders across Staffordshire have demanded that an English Defence League march in nearby Shropshire is called off.

A statement issued by the Lichfield Diocese called on the far-right group to abandon a demonstration in Telford tomorrow following the disturbances in Birmingham and the Black Country.
