THE £455,000 project to overhaul Erdington’s Stockland Green Methodist Church is nearly complete.

Work began on the Slade Road church in January 2010 and the new centre boasts a worship area, meeting space, energy efficient boiler and sensory garden. The church will officially re-open on Sunday, August 21.
