Robbie Savage and Dion Dublin play in charity game

FORMER Blues player Robbie Savage will renew his rivalry with ex Villa ace Dion Dublin in a match for a cancer charity.

Savage will represent Wales and Dublin will play for England in a legends game for the John Hartson Foundation which raises awareness and support for testicular cancer.

Hartson, once a Baggies player, set up the group after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer which he successfully fought through lung and brain operations and more than 60 sessions of chemotherapy.

Ex footballers Paul Merson and Ian Wright, boxer Ricky Hatton, rapper Tinchy Stryder, singer Richard Ashcroft and actors Idris Elba and Ralf Little will line up for England in the John Hartson Trophy.

Dean Saunders and Mark Hughes will play for Wales alongside Olympic medallists Iwan Thomas and Jamie Baulch and TV presenter Gethin Jones at Derby County’s Pride Park on Thursday, September 8.
