BAND The Wanted and Birmingham Kerrang DJ Kate Lawler are to decide who will become Olympic torchbearers through the West Midlands.

The celebrities have been announced as judges for who will take part in the London 2012 torch relay.

They will help select inspirational young people, called Future Flames, to carry the Olympic flame when the public nomination closes in two weeks time. Future Flames are young people who use passion in sport, music, dance and other activities to spread happiness.

Torch relay sponsor Coca-Cola is urging locals to nominate worthy young contenders until the closing date of September 5 at www.cokezone.co.uk
