A SICK internet ‘troll’ who bombarded the grieving family of tragic Midland teen Natasha MacBryde with vile online messages and videos has been jailed for 18 weeks.
Sean Duffy, aged 25, pleaded guilty to sending horrific messages and pictures to a Facebook tribute page set up after 15 -year-old Natasha committed suicide on February 14.
The 25-year-old, of Rowe Court, Reading, defaced the page, set up by Natasha’s brother James, just a day after his sister was found dead on rail lines near her Bromsgrove home.
Pictures of Miss MacBryde carried in the press were defaced and the words: “Spoiled dead ****” posted underneath.
Another picture carried the phrase: “I caught the train to heaven.”
Three days later Duffy, who is autistic and suffers from Asperger Syndrome, uploaded a video to YouTube called ‘Tasha the Tank Engine’.
It featured footage of Thomas the Tank Engine with the teen’s face posted on the childhood icon as well as defaced images of the schoolgirl.
