SAINSBURY’S has been given planning permission to build a new petrol station in Birmingham.

The retail giant is to open one on land off Ulwine Drive and Vineyard Road in Northfield, next to the new by-pass.

The land has been derelict for a long time and is close to Sainsbury’s new supermarket in Northfield.
