IT’S been the centrepoint of Birmingham’s Christmas celebrations for a decade.

But the Frankfurt Christmas market has come under criticism from families over claims it was overcrowded and filled with lager louts.

West Midlands Police has also recorded a sharp increase in thefts at this year’s attraction with 20 offences reported during the first fortnight.
